2017 Cornerback, Rashaad Stewart Holds Toledo Offer

Although there is no exact list, Clearwater, Fla. defensive back, Rashaad Stewart says the Rockets are in his top six.

Clearwater Central Catholic High School cornerback, Rashaad Stewart doesn't know too much about the Toledo Rockets but he continues to learn more about the program. Stewart was offered by the Rockets in the early spring and says they are currently on his unofficial list of top-six schools.

"I don't have an official list but they are in my top-six of my twelve offers total," Stewart said about the Rockets, "They're definitely a school I have my eye on."

With Stewart not knowing too much about Toledo, the coaching staff is attempting to fill them in as best as possible.

"I've talked with Coach Blackwell a few times, he's told me a lot about the school and the director they're heading in," added Stewart, "I know Toledo is always toward the top of the Mid-American Conference and I'm getting to know their coaching staff."

Another thing Stewart has noted about Toledo is their academic program as Stewart pursues a career in broadcasting and communications.

The six-foot, 175-pound cornerback currently holds offers from AkronBoston CollegeBowling GreenCincinnati, and Louisville, amongst others.

"I don't have a number one school, but I have my eye on a few teams," Stewart said on his recruitment.

The Clearwater, Fla. product is looking to take an official visit to Toledo this fall and will continue to further his recruitment and knowledge about the Rockets.
