Rocket Commits Produce in Week Two of High School Football

Toledo's 2017 class is shaping up to be a great one. Here are some updates on the commits in the class and what they did in week two of high school football around the country.

 Mitch Berg, Offensive Tackle - St. John's Jesuit HS (Toledo, Ohio)

Mitch Berg played well on the offensive line in a 44-0 stomping over Lake Catholic Mentor.

Devonte Dunn, Defensive Tackle - Nazareth Academy (Illinois)

Toledo commit Devonte Dunn had five tackles in a big win in week two.

Drew Rosi, Tight End - Olentangy Liberty HS (Powell, Ohio)

Drew Rosi recorded five tackles for a loss and a sack defensively along with one catch for eight yards on offense in a four-point victory over Cleveland Glenville.

Nick Kovacs, Wide Receiver - Springboro HS (Ohio)

Nick Kovacs broke the Springboro High School record for career receptions with 125, breaking the previous record of 121 in a 45-27 win over Middletown.

Jahneil Douglas, Defensive End - Start HS (Toledo, Ohio)

Jahneil Douglas had eleven tackles in a 20-14 loss to Anthony Wayne.

Caleb Martin, Quarterback - Fort Recovery HS (Ohio)

Toledo quarterback commit, Caleb Martin was 10-for-18 passing for 230 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 120 yards and two touchdowns featuring two fifty-plus yard touchdown runs in a 32-0 win over Fort Loramie.

Derrick Barnes, Linebacker - Holy Cross HS (Covington, KY)

Derrick Barnes had a bye week this week.
