As one of the fastest players in the state of Ohio in the 2017 recruiting class, Jason Candle and the Rockets really like what they see in signee, Dakari Carter. Despite only being five-nine, 160-pounds, Carter has 4.4 40-yard dash speed and is a threat in many different areas. Carter is expected to play cornerback for the Rockets but there's a chance he could play slot receiver and return kicks for the Rockets in the future as well. Carter held offers from nearly every school in the Mid-American Conference but has been a true Rocket since his verbal commitment on June 29.
