Woodford Lankford was a top offensive line target over the summer for the Toledo Rockets. However, Lankford verbally committed to Western Kentucky late in the summer of 2016. However, just weeks ago, Lankford would reopen his commitment and ultimately announced his decision to sign with Toledo over Marshall and Eastern Kentucky. The Rockets are now excited to see what the big Lankford can do in the Midnight Blue & Gold. At six-four, 250-pounds, Lankford has a chance to develop into an offensive anchor in the trenches and moves very well, especially in the run game. Offensive line coach Mike Hallett has to be extremely excited about landing such a big time player as three-star Woodford Lankford is Toledo bound.
