Indianapolis Cathedral Three-Star Jackson Barrow Commits

As Jason Candle and the Rockets look to build the 2018 recruiting class, a big domino has fallen in outside linebacker, Jackson Barrow, who will bring a lot of physicality to the defense.

2018 Indianapolis Cathedral High School product Jackson Barrow has verbally committed to the Toledo Rockets, as we announced via our premium subscriber forum earlier this week. The six-one, 205-pounder held offers from Bowling GreenCentral MichiganCincinnatiIndiana, and Toledo but was ultimately drawn in to the at-home feel of the Glass City.

"I just felt like I had a really great connection with the coaching staff and Coach Candle," Barrow told us after his commitment, "I love the direction that the program is going. I also like what they have in store for me in the future in terms of pursuing my dreams."

Barrow, a three-star by, is currently ranked as the third best outside linebacker in the state of Indiana and No. 90 overall at his position in the country. Jason Candle and the Rockets are looking to build on a 2017 signing class which ranked No. 1 in the Mid-American Conference and even more recently, a 2017 NFL Draft which saw three former Rockets drafted.

Barrow's verbal commitment brings the class to four as of right now to go along with offensive linemen Tyler Long and Conor Head as well as athlete Jayshon Jackson. This 2018 recruiting class is shaping up to become something special. We'll keep you posted on the latest.
