Rockets Signed Three Mid-Year Transfers

The University of Toledo signed three student-athletes during the Mid-Year Transfer period that ran from December 19, 2007 through January 15, 2008. These three student-athletes will count against the 2007 recruiting class, and our already enrolled and on campus.

Three University of Toledo commitments have already signed Letters of Intent during the early signing period for eligible JUCO and Prep players. They are QB Alex Pettee, DE Albertson Alexandre, and OL John Morookian.

Pettee is a 6-3 and 205 pound quarterback that played one year at Pierce College before signing with Toledo. he threw for 1,196 yards and 21 TD's on his way to being named Western State Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a 1st-Team Academic All-American in the JUCO ranks. He will have three years of eligibility left.

Albertson Alexandre is a 6-5 and 240 pound defensive end from Foothill JC in Northern California. He was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Nor-Cal Conference as a freshman in 2007. He will have three years of eligibility left at Toledo.

John Morookian is a 6-6 and 323 pound offensive lineman from Milford Academy, a prep school in New Berlin, NY. Morookian is originally from Providence, RI where he went to high school at LaSalle Academy. Morookian has four years of eligibility at Toledo.

All three student-athletes are enrolled in 2nd semester classes at Toledo and on campus now.
