Dayton Carroll High School offensive lineman Cory Sorice is another offensive lineman that Tom Amstutz and the Toledo Rockets have on their recruiting radar.

At 6-3 and 315 pounds, Cory has the size to play at the Division I FBS level. Several schools are already taking notice, including Toledo. Cory does not have any official offers yet, but is hearing from Louisville, Cincinnati, Toledo, Miami University, and pretty much the rest of the MAC.

He is being recruited to Toledo by Assistant Coach Mark Rhea. And though Sorice has not been to the University of Toledo for a visit yet, he will be on campus in the coming weeks for one of Toledo's summer camps. This is often the time where kids that are standing out receive scholarship offers from the UT coaching staff.

Rocket Digest recently talked to Cory's high school football coach, Steve Bartlett. "(Cory) has quick feet, great strength, and is a great run blocker," Coach Bartlett told Rocket Digest. He added, "Cory is one of the best lineman we have had in twenty years."

At this time Cory favors Miami University and Louisville, but that could change after seeing Toledo's campus over the summer.

Stay tuned to Rocket Digest as we keep you updated on Cory's recruitment and check back with him after his summer camp visit to Toledo.
