Rocket Player Suspended for Two Games

The University of Toledo has announced that one of the players expected to start tonight at Arizona has been suspended for two games. He will miss the Arizona and Eastern Michigan games.

The University of Toledo has announced that starting left guard Jared Dewalt has been suspended from tonight's game and will also miss the game at Eastern Michigan next week.

Dewalt (6-4, 318) is a junior offensive lineman, who was listed as the starting left guard on the latest depth chart. He has been suspended for violating a team rule.

"We have a very high standard set for our players, both on the field and off," said University of Toledo head coach Tom Amstutz. He added, "disciplinary actions will be taken if our standards are not met."

Coach Amstutz added that the suspension was a team matter, and that he would have no further comment.

Expected to take Dewalt's place as the starting left guard is sophomore Chris Meenan. Meenan is a 6-7 and 334 pounder from Wooster, OH.
