2010 Prospect Adds Offers

Daris Quinn and Archie Donald are the heart and soul of the Rocket defense. The starting linebackers for the Rockets have added some physical play to the position that was lacking last season. To keep things going, UT coaches are looking for linebacker prospects out of the 2009 and 2010 classes. One Lima Shawnee product just might fit into the picture for 2010.

Lima Shawnee junior linebacker Zac Rosenbauer recently received his first two official scholarship offers. "BG and Akron are official," Zac told Rocket Digest.

During the offseason Zac received verbal offers from Akron and Toledo. Along with Akron, Bowling Green coaches have stepped forward and sent Zac official paperwork for a scholarship offer.

Despite not getting official paperwork yet from Toledo, Zac isn't too worried. "I broke my collar bone in the first scrimmage and haven't played a down yet, so that hurts a little," Zac said.

He is expected to see his first action of the season next week, and once he has game film for college coaches he expects to start getting more offers.

For now Zac will wait and see where Toledo and other schools stand once he has game film. However, he is off to a great start in his collegiate recruitment with offers from two Mid-American Conference schools. Zac is also hearing from Toledo, Northwestern, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Iowa, Cincinnati, Colorado, Wyoming, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ohio University, and Miami University.

Stay tuned to Rocket Digest as we keep you updated on Zac's junior season at Shawnee and his status as a Toledo Rocket 2010 football prospect.
