Back From Toledo Visit

Valparaiso, IN forward Hayden Humes took an unofficial visit to Toledo over the weekend. The 6-8, 210 pounder got a look at UT's campus and watched the football team take on Fresno State. How did his visit go? Does he hold an offer from Toledo? Where does Toledo stand in his list? Read on to find out about all of that and more.

Valparaiso forward Hayden Humes took an unofficial visit to Toledo over the weekend. The 6-8 and 210 pound senior from Valparasio,IN has been getting recruited by UT Assistant Coach Brian Lloyd. Hayden does not have an offer from the Rockets yet at this point, but does have an offer from Division II Hillsdale College.

So how was his visit to Toledo?

"I was impressed with Coach Cross and his entire staff, along with the team and the direction they are going," Hayden told Rocket Digest. He added, "I haven't seen the new arena on the inside, but it sounds nice and everyone there that talked to me was talking about the arena."

Hayden currently lists three favorites in the recruiting process......Toledo, Wisconsin Milwaukee, and IPFW.

Humes plays power forward in high school at Valparaiso, but is being recruited as either a small forward or power forward for college.

He averaged 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists per game last season on a team that went 9-13.

Over the summer Hayden has worked hard to improve his skills. "I've been working on getting stronger and quicker, and working on my game in all aspects," said Hayden.
