Richard Drake is one of the top priorities in Toledo's 2009 recruiting class. This past weekend he visited Middle Tennesse and liked what he saw enough to step back a bit from his commitment to Toledo.
Sunday night he told Rocket Digest that he was still committed to Toledo, but would reveal his final decision Wednesday night. This evening Rocket Digest has the latest on his recruitment.
After getting back from the Middle Tennessee visit, Drake has been busy with both Toledo and Middle Tennessee coaches. Middle Tennessee made an in-home visit to Richard last night, and Toledo head coach Tim Beckman made an in-home visit to him tonight.
"It went really well," Drake told Rocket Digest of his in-home visit with Rocket head coach Tim Beckman. But was that enough to end his recruitment?
"I'm gonna decide on signing day," Richard said when asked about whether or not he was ready to make his final decision.
So now it's nail-biting time for Rocket and Blue Raider fans and coaches. Signing day is just a short two weeks away, or should I say signing day is a long two weeks away?!
