Venice, FL defensive lineman Ben Steele took official visits to the University of Toledo and Ohio University over the weekend. After spending most of Sunday thinking about the decision, Steele made the call.
"I just committed to Toledo," Ben told Rocket Digest late last night.
Steele is 6-5 and 245 pounds. He can play strongside defensive end or defensive tackle. He recorded 54 tackles, 2 sacks, and forced one fumble this past season as a senior at Venice High school.
Steele will bring much needed size to the Rocket defensive line.
As well as the offers from Toledo and Ohio, Steele had an offer from Charleston Southern and interest from Florida Atlantic.
