The University of Toledo added some key depth on the defensive line in the 2009 recruiting class. For the 2010 class, Head Coach Tim Beckman and his staff are looking to add some more depth on the defensive line, a spot that was a weakness the last couple of seasons.

Rocket Digest recently caught up with one of those defensive line prospects is Kevin Henry of Morris, IL. Rocket Digest recently caught up with Henry to discuss his recruitment.

"I have heard from over 30 schools by mail," Henry told Rocket Digest. "I have been visited in my school during the evaluation period by Toledo, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, Illinois State, and Ball State."

So far Henry has two offers, from Toledo and Indiana. For Toledo, Assistant Coach Mike Ward has been recruiting Henry.

When asked about his impressions of Toledo, Henry spoke highly of the Rocket football program. "I know that Toledo is about 4 1/2 hours from Morris. I also know that Toledo beat Michigan last year and that the program has been a power in the MAC for years. I am excited about the offer from Toledo."

Kevin has not scheduled a visit with Toledo yet, but plans to do so for a visit over the summer. With that in mind, Henry also has a timeframe in mind for making a commitment. "I would like to be committed before the season starts in September.

Henry is 6-5 and 250 pounds. He runs a 4.79 forty yard dash and holds a 4.3 GPA on a 5.0 scale.

Check back later this summer for an update on Kevin Henry and his status as a Toledo Rocket football prospect.
