Westlake High School standout Darius Robinson has been a popular guy among college coaches, as he is up to 23 scholarship offers now. The three star cornerback is ranked 47th nationally at his position for the 2010 recruiting class.

Toledo was the first school to offer Darius a scholarship. Now with 23 scholarships in hand, Robinson has decided to narrow down his list a little bit.

"I'm down to a top ten," Robinson told Rocket Digest. "Miami, Clemson, Kentucky, Maryland, UCF, North Carolina, Stanford, Mississippi State, West Virginia, and Toledo," he continued.

Robinson had been hoping to attend a camp at Toledo this summer, but the trip from Atlanta to Toledo would be quite costly for Darius, so he does not think he will be making a trip up. He has attended camps at Miami, UCF, FAU, Alabama, Auburn, and Mississippi State this summer. He still plans to visit Clemson and possibly Alabama again or LSU. "I always ride with a teammate or I go where I can if my coaches are already going," Robinson said.

The 5-11, 171 pound cornerback runs a 4.4 forty yard dash. He recorded 43 tackles and three interceptions as a junior last season. In the weight room he benches 225 pounds and squats 435 pounds.

At the Scout.com combine in Atlanta earlier this year, Robinson ran a 4.41 forty and a 4.25 shuttle.

He is also a very solid student with a 3.4 core GPA and a 1370 SAT score.

Stay tuned to Rocket Digest thoughout the summer as we keep you updated on Darius Robinson's status as a top Toledo Rocket football prospect.
