"Midnight Madness is a chance for us to introduce our students and fans to our men's and women's basketball teams and for everyone to have a good time doing it," Director of Marketing Steve Walsh said. "We are excited about the upcoming season and want to pass along that enthusiasm to our fans."

The festivities will start at 10:30 p.m. and will feature live music, games and prizes for students and the traditional midnight introduction of both the men's and women's basketball teams. At the stroke of midnight, the men's and women's teams, along with head coaches Shawn Finney and Lisa Stockton, will be introduced. The teams will then take part in a series of contests and exhibitions including a slam-dunk contest and co-ed three-point shootout.
