Clifford Harris, the multi-purpose athlete from Higgins High School in Marrero, La. told scout.com Sunday evening that he will make an official visit to the Tulane campus next weekend, Dec. 10-12.
Harris, 5-10 205, gained over 1,600 yards rushing and scored 28 touchdowns during his senior year.
Harris, who carries a 3.98 GPA and scored a 22 on the ACT, also has visits planned to Vanderbilt and Duke.
Here's what Clifford had to say Sunday evening:
TI: Let's update where the various schools that you've had some interest in stand with you right now, start with Central Florida.
CH: They offered me about a month ago.
CH: I'd go up there to look around if they'd call and want to set up a visit. I'd consider
signing with them.
TI: Ole Miss?
CH: I'd like to visit there too.
CH: I've got a visit set up there next weekend.
CH: I really haven't heard much from them lately.
TI: And you're still going to visit Duke and Vanderbilt?
CH: I'm going to Vanderbilt on January 21 and Duke on January 28.
TI: How is Higgins doing in the playoffs?
CH: We made it to the first round but got knocked out by Rummel, 30-0. I got over a hundred yards but penalties and turnovers killed us.
