Three visits lined up for Pruitt

Having already attended Baylor's junior day Feb. 2, Dallas (Tx) Bishop Dunne lineman Jovan Pruitt will be hitting three others in the coming weeks.

Pruitt was scheduled to attend Texas junior day Sunday; however, it was a last-minute transportation issue that led him and teammate Nick Watkins to cancel.

Pruitt and Watkins both confirmed they will be at the Longhorns' next junior day, Feb. 23. They both hold Texas offers.

The two will also hit SMU together next weekend, Feb. 16.

Pruitt will then travel to Oklahoma March 9. He, too, holds a Sooners offer.

Notre Dame and Baylor make it a quartet of offers in the last month for the 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle.

"It's great to see things finally taking off for Jovan," said Bishop Dunne head coach Michael Johnson. "He has really improved in the classroom, which, I know, is something he was really focused on after season - making sure his grades were right. He worked his tail off, and here he is now with three major offers."

"It's just the start, too."
