Turner is in Official Visit Mode

Josiah Turner, the point guard from Sacramento who is one of the best at his position in the country, talks about his recent official visit to UCLA, and what's on his upcoming recruiting agenda...

Josiah Turner, 6-2 SR PG Sacramento (Calif.) High, is a true point guard and the top prospect at his position in the west for 2011. A terrific passer, Turner is very good at the most important aspect of being a point guard – he makes his teammates better. And while he's not a great shooter, Turner has developed into a good shooter and he's more than capable of creating scoring opportunities for himself.

Turner took an official visit to UCLA this past weekend and I asked him how it went.

"It went real well, I had fun there," said Turner. "Everything was real nice. Nice campus and I got to play with the guys."

Turner has more visits coming up.

"I'm going to Arizona this weekend for a visit," said Turner. "Then I have trips to Oregon and Kansas after that."

Turner is also in the middle of in-home visits with the various coaches.

"Kansas was here on Monday," said Turner. "Arizona and Oregon will be in Wednesday."

I asked Turner if he has an idea when he might make his decision.

"No, there is no time frame," said Turner.
