Corona (Calif.) defensive end DeVante Wilson (6-5 235) has ten offers, but he's still hopeful a few more schools offer, specifically the local schools.

"I'm hoping to get offers from UCLA and USC, but I'm also really happy with the offers I have," said Wilson. "The ones that stand out for me are Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico and Utah."

Wilson will be taking his first official visit this weekend, to Arizona, to see the Wildcats host Cal.

"I'm looking forward to taking that trip," said Wilson. "Arizona is doing really good. I'm also visiting Nebraska on October 16th when they play Texas."

Wilson said he's got a top seven, which includes Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, USC, New Mexico and Utah.

"I'm looking at Utah pretty seriously now too because they're going into the Pac-10," said Wilson. "I like the Pac-10 a lot because I can be seen by my family more. They'd like me to be close to home."

Wilson was at the UCLA-Stanford game and plans to hit a USC game this year too.

"I'm hoping that (former Corona teammates) Jordon (James at UCLA) and Demetrius (Wright at USC) are telling the coaches about me," said Wilson.

Wilson said that Nebraska, New Mexico and Arizona are recruiting him the hardest.

"I'm not ready to decide, I'll make my decision after I take all of my visits," said Wilson. "I have the two trips set up and I'll probably schedule my other three for after the season."

On the year, Corona is 1-1 and Wilson has four sacks in the first two games, including three in the opener.
