2012 Arizona RB Gets Offer

Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro running back D.J. Foster, who looks to be one of the best at his position in the west for 2012, just received his third scholarship offer, and it comes from the Pac-10...

UCLA pulled a talented offensive lineman out of Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro last year, they are after another (Cyrus Hobbi) this year, and Scout.com has just confirmed that a 2012 player from Saguaro has been verbally offered by the Bruins.

Junior running back D.J. Foster received his third offer yesterday when the UCLA staff pulled the trigger. "I am so excited," he says. "This is an offer I've been wanting and a school I have always wanted to to go."

He continues, "I talked to the coaches and they really liked my film and enthusiasm on the field. I hear the campus is beautiful."

Foster has been offered as an athlete. So far in 2010 for the 3-2 Sabercats Foster has rushed for 381 yards and 6 TDs on just 31 carries. He is also a threat out of the backfield, hauling in 19 passes for 382 yards and 2 more TDs. To top that off, he has recorded 21 tackles on defense.

Oregon State and Arizona State offered previously and Foster says that he is also hearing from Arizona, Alabama, Colorado, Texas Tech and Oregon.
