Goldson Could Be a Nugget

Dashon Goldson, 6-3, 175, Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne, had a very good showing at the UCLA one-day camp. He was quite a bit taller than he had been listed (he was listed at 5-11 and he was measured at 6-2 ½ at the camp), ran fairly well and showed in the drills that he had very good feet for a guy his size.

Goldson has shown quite a few coaching staffs this spring those same skills, and he's getting some good recruiting interest. "I was offered by Fresno State the other day," Goldson said. "I have quite a few offers, but I'm still waiting on the schools I want."

Those schools would be Washington, UCLA, Wisconsin and Washington State, which Goldson lists as his favorites. He said currently that the Huskies lead the pack.

Goldson, who had 8 interceptions and 128 tackles last year as a junior, plays free safety in high school and believes it will be his position in college.

He said he has a 3.0 GPA and hasn't taken the SAT yet.
