"It's going to be between Arkansas and UCLA," said Tai. "I'm just talking it over with my family. We're going to do a press conference at my school either and I'll announce my decision."
The annoucement is planned for 1:30 PST.
The Razorbacks got an official visit from Tai two weeks ago while UCLA got a quick unofficial trip from him on Saturday.
"We drove out to the Rose Bowl early on Saturday and went to the recruits lounge and ate and talked with the coaches," said Tai. "I talked with Coach (Norm) Chow and Coach (Todd) Howard really quickly. It was going to be an official visit, but it ended up being an unofficial visit because they just said they want me to come out and spend more time with them on an official visit."
Tai said that he would take an official visit next month to UCLA, but only if he picks the Bruins.
So this week, Tai will sit down with his family and decide between the two.
He camped with both the Bruins and Razorbacks during the summer, and he's got ties to the Arkansas program, his father having played for Razorbacks head coach Bobby Petrino when Petrino was at Weber State.
"We'll talk it over with my family and then I'll decide," said Tai. "I'm looking forward to announcing my decision."
Late Monday a newspaper report had Tai committing to UCLA, but we talked to him after the report and he denied he had committed to UCLA. He said the newspaper was misinformed, and that he hadn't talked to the newspaper.
