Justice Changes Leaders

While it's early and there is quite a bit of recruiting yet to come, Winston Justice, one of the best offensive line prospects in the west, said he recently has changed the college he prefers...

Winston Justice, OL, 6-6, 275, Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, has long been a UCLA lean, but he said yesterday that things have shifted a bit.

"I'd probably say USC is my favorite," Justice said.

When asked why his leader had changed from UCLA to USC, Justice said, "USC has been recruiting me hard. And their major in communications, they have a better program for that. And that's what I want to major in."

Justice said he's also considering Florida, Tennessee and Florida State. He said that all five on his list have offered scholarships.

Long thought to be a recruit that might commit early, Justice said he believes that isn't true. "I want to wait well into the season. I'd like to take all of my trips."

What is he looking for in a college? "The atmosphere. I want to be comfortable there. The academics are important. Also the strength of the program and the coaches."
