Joseph Pullard Makes Own Name

Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw safety Joseph Pullard is carving his own niche in his senior season and hopes to land some offers after watching his brother go through the process a year ago...

Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw athlete Joseph Pullard has had no problems playing in the shadows of DeAnthony Thomas this year.

He has done so with his brother, Hayes, now at USC, for years.

But Pullard is making a name for himself, and offers could be just around the corner for him.

"I don't have any offers yet but I think San Jose State could be offering me really soon," said Pullard. "They came to our game (against Locke)."

The Trojans have also showed some interest as well as UCLA, and Pullard has interest in both.

"UCLA is recruiting me a little more right now, as a safety and a receiver," said Pullard.

Pullard, 6-2, 192, plays outside linebacker for Crenshaw, but said safety is where most of his attention is coming.

"It doesn't matter to me where I play, I just want to play," said Pullard.

Brandon is in his sixth year with Scout.com, currently as the West Regional Manager. Prior to joining Scout, he spent three years as an o-line and tight ends coach in the high school ranks.
