Los Angeles (Calif.) Harbor safety Byron Moore is turning his recruitment up a notch, by focusing on just a handful of schools now, as he hits visit mode.

Moore, a USC signee out of high school, had an impressive season in his first year at Harbor College, and numerous schools, spanning the country, have offered.

But Moore is shrinking his list down to a more serious collection of schools.

"My updated list of schools I'm considering are Tennessee, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon State, LSU, UCLA and Washington," said Moore.

Moore visited Tennessee officially over the weekend.

"It was real nice there," said Moore. "I loved it."

He also has set an official visit for later this month, to Ohio State (on December 17th), and is likely taking a trip to another SEC school this weekend.

"It looks like I'm going to go to Ole Miss this week with my teammate, John White," said Moore.

Moore is set to visit Oregon State and Washington in January, but said one of those could get bumped out.

"One of my January visits, to either Washington or Oregon State, might get changed for LSU," said Moore.

Brandon is in his sixth year with Scout.com, currently as the West Regional Manager. Prior to joining Scout, he spent three years as an o-line and tight ends coach in the high school ranks.
