Encino (Calif.) Crespi receiver Devin Lucien is looking towards January to take his final three visits.

"I'm taking the rest in January and I'm still thinking about where I'm going to visit and when between Colorado, UCLA and Michigan.

Lucien had previously visited Arizona State and Kentucky this past weekend.

"I loved it there," said Lucien.  "Raymond Sanders and Randall Cobb were my hosts and they both showed me around.  I love Kentucky.  Kentucky was all-around a great place. Everyone was really great."

Kentucky got in touch with Lucien after watching his film on the recommendation of greyshirt quarterback Maxwell Smith, like Lucien, a Valley resident.

"Maxwell showed them my highlights, and they said they were floored after they watched them," said Lucien.  "Coach Tee Martin, he loved them and he won a national championship (at Tennessee), so that means a lot. He and Coach Summers came down to my school, and Coach Summers came to my house and had an in-home visit."

Head coach Joker Phillips is expected to come by this week for an in-home.

Aside from Phillips visiting this week, Arizona State head coach Dennis Erickson will be coming by the house.

"Coach Norm Chow from UCLA came by last week and Coach Neuheisel wants me to call him and have my weekly check in," said Lucien.  "And Coach (Jon) Embree (at Colorado), he called me and said they're still recruiting me.  I got my offer from them early (when Dan Hawkins was the coach), and I'm going to visit Colorado.  And Michigan is going to be coming by soon."
