The three-star pass-rushed enjoyed his time in Westwood.
"I really liked the weather down there and I think it's one of the best campus I've ever seen," said Lopa. "It was my first time there. And it was really nice."
Lopa was hosted by Wade Yandall on his trip.
Lopa said the UCLA coaches like him as an end.
"They like me as a defensive end, but I'll play wherever," said Lopa.
Linebackers coach Clark Lea is recruiting Lopa, and that's who he spent much of his time with.
"I talked with Coach (Rick) Neuheisel too, but Coach Lea is the one recruiting me and calling me so I talked with him the most," said Lopa.
His family also flanked him on the trip.
"My parents went, my little sister and my brother both went and we all had a really good time," said Lopa.
Lopa said he doesn't have a favorite yet.
"I don't really know yet, because I have to see the other campuses before I start narrowing it down," said Lopa. "I'll probably announce on Signing Day."
This week, Arizona State coach Dennis Erickson and Oregon State coach Mike Riley will be in for in-home visits.
