When asked about his most recent visit, Hobbi said, "I really enjoyed my visit to SC. Before I went in, me and the coaches kind of got off to a bad start, but they made up for it this past weekend."
Hobbi is referring to attending the USC camp this summer but not walking away with an offer over an apparent mis=communication.
"I had a good meeting with Coach Kiffin," Hobbi says. "We just talked about the school's future and my future and none of the coaches pressured me at all but just kept telling me how important I am to them."
After last year's sanctions against USC, some prospects have looked elsewhere but the sanctions don't seem to affect Hobbi. "The sanctions don't really bother me too much," he says.
Hobbi quickly became one of the West Coast's top offensive line prospects, receiving over twenty scholarship offers but now says he is down to three schools.
"I've narrowed it down to ASU, USC, and UCLA, in no order." he says. And he will take his last official visit to UCLA this weekend. "I can definitely see myself at USC, along with ASU and UCLA, so it's a lot harder for me now decision-wise, but I will make my decision next week," Hobbi finishes.
