Options For Miles Increasing

Denver (Colo.) Mullen quarterback Cyler Miles is fresh off leading his school to a state title and 14-0 season, and the 6-3, 210-pounder is on the radar of numerous schools.

With five offers to his name, Myles is looking to see his list expand as the spring goes on.

Miles has offers from Colorado, California, Arizona State, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt.

"I'm also hearing from LSU, Oregon, UCLA and Arizona," said Miles.

The Buffs offered Miles first, doing so when Dan Hawkins was the head coach, but new head man Jon Embree reiterated the offer.

"They offered me when Coach Hawkins was there, but I talked with Coach Embree and he said it's still there. I met him briefly and he seems like a good guy and a good coach," said Miles.

Miles said that he's looking at all of his options nationally.

"I'm not particularly looking to stay in state, if it happens it happens," said Miles. "I'm looking for my best choice, wherever that is. There is no pressure to stay in state. I'll go where it fits me best."

Miles said he didn't have a favorite school growing up, which he thinks will help him in the process.

"I didn't have a real favorite so I'm not favoring anyone right now," said Miles.

Miles was one of the top performers at the U.S. Army National Combine last month and will be at the Badger/New Level 7on7 in March as well as an Elite 11 Regional Camp.

He won't rush his decision.

"I want to go through the process and not rush anything with my commitment," said Miles.

Academically, Miles boasts a 3.2 and will take the SAT or ACT this spring.

Brandon is in his seventh year with Scout.com, currently as the West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
