Stanley Is Nevada's Top OL

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman is once again home to the top prospect in Nevada and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, who is that guy, has a slew of offers...

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley heads the list of Nevada's top prospects in the 2012 class.

Seven schools have already extended an offer with numerous other national schools close to following suit.

"My offers are from Arkansas, Nebraska, USC, Cal, Utah, UCLA and Arizona," said Stanley. "I'm getting a lot of interest too from Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame, Florida, Oregon and Auburn."

Stanley, 6-7, 290-pounds, is planning to take in a couple of unofficial visits during the spring.

"We're going to Arizona, Cal, Arkansas and Nebraska in the spring after basketball," said Stanley.

The two-sport star helped the Gaels to the state title in football last December and they're also a nationally ranked basketball team, and he's toyed with the idea of playing both in college.

"Me and Shabazz (Muhammed) have talked about maybe going to the same school and playing basketball there after I'm done with football," said Stanley. "But I'm open to anyone and I'm going to take my time and take all five of my visits."

Stanley said that with basketball likely dipping late into the spring, it will slow his recruiting process some.

"I'm in no rush and just want to take some time and see how it all plays out," said Stanley.

Academically, he's in solid shape with plans to take the SAT in the spring.
