Upland (Calif.) receiver Kenny Lawler (6-3, 185) was one of a handful of recruits at UCLA on Saturday for the Bruins' Meet and Greet.

A commit to Arizona State, Lawler wanted to take in the atmosphere in Westwood.

"It was real nice, I liked the campus and it was a beautiful site to see," said Lawler. "I'd been there once, but not enough to tour the campus. This time, I got to see the dorms and we went to the basketball game and they gave us these courtside seats. It was fun."

Lawler's lone offer is from Arizona State, but he said he thought a UCLA offer could be coming.

"They haven't offered me but they probably will," said Lawler. "I talked mostly with Wayne Moses and also with Coach (Mike) Johnson and Coach (Rick) Neuheisel, when I went out there. I keep in touch with Moses the most."

Lawler said he also thinks more offers could be coming.

"I know Miami and Florida State are interested and I've been talking to one of the coaches at Washington, and he wants my highlight tape," said Lawler. "I'm just trying to keep my eyes open to other schools."

Lawler's father played at Oregon and the Ducks have a special place in his heart.

"Oregon was my favorite school growing up and my dad played at Oregon so I'm planning to go to the Nike Camp up there," said Lawler.

Lawler is also planning to camp at the UnderArmour Combine in Santa Monica this weekend and the Badger 7on7 in Vegas next month.
