San Jose (Calif.) Leland safety/linebacker Christopher Santini (6-1, 200), is keeping his spring busy with camps and unofficial visits.

The past week saw him take an unofficial up to Washington and to Cal and this weekend he'll be in Southern California for an unofficial visit to UCLA and the UnderArmour Combine in Santa Monica.

Santini enjoyed his previous trips to Washington and Cal.

"At Washington, I liked the campus and the architecture of the school, especially the business building and the stadium was real cool," said Santini. "I met with Coach (Steve) Sarkisian, Coach (Nick) Holt, Coach (Mike) Cox, and Coach (Joel) Thomas. They're looking at me more as an outside linebacker."

Then came a visit over to Cal.

"I didn't get to see as much of the facilities because of the construction but it was pretty cool there and I liked it a lot too," said Santini. "They're looking at more as a linebacker too."

UCLA will be visited on Saturday before the UA Combine and then he'll be taking an unofficial to Oregon during the spring.

"I have a busy schedule, but I really want to see some of these schools," said Santini.

He plans to camp at Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Boise State and Cal and possibly at Washington, San Jose State, Fresno State, Cal Poly and Colorado.

Where he'll play remains to be seen.

"I don't really mind either linebacker or safety," said Santini. "I play safety for my school but I've played a little linebacker."

Santini will also camp at the Badger/New Level 7on7 and the Stanford Nike Camp.

Academically, he has a 3.2 and scored a 1500 on the SAT.
