Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey linebacker Jeremiah Allison got some good news on Monday afternoon.

"I got my first offer, from UCLA," said Allison. "I feel very privileged."

Allison had been in contact with new offensive coordinator Mike Johnson, who's spearheading the Bruins' efforts in the City Section.

"Coach Johnson offered me, and as an outside linebacker," said Allison, who's also played defensive end for the Dons.

And he may not be done receiving offers.

"Arizona State and Washington could be offering soon," said Allison.

But he's in no rush to make a choice.

"I want to take some time and see what my options are," said Allison.

That includes trying to check out some campuses.

"I haven't been up to UCLA yet, but I plan on taking a trip up there," said Allison.

In the meantime, the Scout 2012 Watch Lister is doing the camp circuit.

"I believe I'm going to play at the Badger 7on7 in Las Vegas (next weekend)," said Allison.
