UCLA Offers New Jersey QB

Old Tappan, N.J., signal caller Devin Fuller continues to pull in big offers and he received one from the West Coast today when the UCLA Bruins made it official with a verbal scholarship offer from their program.

Devin Fuller, a 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback from Old Tappan Regional High School grabbed his 16th scholarship offer from UCLA last night and informed us of it on Tuesday.

"I got offered by UCLA late last night," Fuller stated. "I talked to Coach (Mike) Johnson and he said he watched my highlight tape and while he thinks I have some things to work on, he also believes I would be a great fit for their program at the quarterback position. I got a great first impression from him."

"It's far from home, but it's not too far, so I'd be fine with playing out there," Fuller explained. "I know they're a very good academic school, but I'm learning about them in other aspects, so we'll see what I come across as I do that."

TCU also offered Fuller about a week ago, so this brings his total so far to 16 verbal scholarship offers.

As a junior, Devin Fuller completed 95 of 143 passes for 1,886 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also carried the ball 191 times for 2,306 yards and 32 touchdowns, giving him a total of 4,150 yards and 52 scores on the year. On defense, he added 65 tackles and three interceptions.
