Camarillo (Calif.) receiver Jake Maulhardt had a productive junior season that earned him all-state underclass honors.

Now the 6-6, 205-pound receiver is hoping to be as productive in his recruitment.

"I'm hearing from pretty much all the Pac-12 schools, BYU and Boise State," said Maulhardt. "All the schools I really want to recruit me pretty much."

Maulhardt said that Boise State, Colorado and BYU have all indicated that an offer is on the way to him, and he thinks that more will come in the spring.

"If I had a top list of schools, it would be USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, UCLA and Oregon," said Maulhardt.

Maulhardt was at USC's Junior Day last weekend and enjoyed his visit.

"It was really nice," said Maulhardt. "They have a great atmosphere there and it's definitely one of my dream schools. They just told me I need to do their camp, and go on from there."

Maulhardt said that all of his interest is coming as a receiver, where he hopes to stay for college.

"As of right now, I'm trying to work on my speed, because I don't want to really play tight end," said Maulhardt. "I prefer receiver, being a big receiver in the slot."

Maulhardt is attending the Badger 7on7 this weekend and the Nike Camp in Los Angeles.

Academically, he's got a 3.0 GPA overall.

As a junior, Maulhardt caught 94 passes for 1,191 yards and seven touchdowns and was named Second Team All-State Underclass by
