The 6-0, 170-pounder was at Stanford's Junior Day last month and enjoyed his time there.
"It was real fun," said Lewis. "I got to meet the coaches and I love it there. Stanford didn't offer, but we talked about where they see me. I talked mostly with Coach (Derek) Mason but got around to all of them. I talked with Coach (David) Shaw too."
The Cardinal are one of a host of schools that Lewis likes.
"I'm also really interested in UCLA, Northwestern, Oregon State and Washington and Washington State came by earlier this year," said Lewis. "My top five is Stanford, UCLA, San Diego State, Oregon State and Washington."
Lewis said all of his attention is coming as a cornerback. He plays with arguably the top player in the country, offensive tackle Arik Armstead, which he says is beneficial.
"It never hurts to have the top player there because schools and coaches will be coming by," said Lewis.
A good student, Lewis has a 3.67 GPA and scored a 1550 on the SAT.
"Academics are really important to me," said Lewis. "So I'm looking at a school that has a really good education."
Lewis said he doesn't want to rush through the process.
"I want to go through the process through each school," said Lewis. "I loved it at Stanford and I want to go through the same with other schools."
