Upland (Calif.) receiver Kenny Lawler (6-3, 185) is committed to Arizona State, but that's not stopping people from recruiting him.

"I'm committed to Arizona State, but it's a soft verbal now," said Lawler. "I like the coaches and the campus is nice."

Since his commitment to the Sun Devils, Nebraska, SMU and Washington have offered Lawler and UCLA offered him on Wednesday night.

He's also been to two Pac-12 schools, going to UCLA's Meet & Greet and Arizona State's Junior Day.

"Close to home doesn't matter to me, I'm open to everyone," said Lawler.

Lawler's father played at Oregon and the Ducks are a school he's very high on.

"Of course I like Oregon," said Lawler. "That's a big school to my family."

Lawler said he's looking to play in a spread offense.

"I like the spread and I think it's good for a receiver like me," said Lawler.

As a junior, Lawler had 42 receptions for 887 yards and nine touchdowns.
