Santa Margarita (Calif.) offensive lineman Max Tuerk (6-6, 292) has options all over the country, with 17 schools having offered the four-star lineman.

Tuerk currently holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Colorado, Duke, Idaho State, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, SMU, UCLA, Utah, Virginia and Washington.

"I've been adding a lot and so many new offers," said Tuerk. "My most recent ones are Boise State, Nebraska, Michigan, Cal, Oregon, Arizona and Arizona State."

Tuerk said he's been pretty surprised with how he went from three early offers in February to nearly 20 of them.

"Yeah, I wasn't expecting things to be like this, but I'm really interested in all of the schools that have offered me and everyone is pretty much equal," said Tuerk. "And I'm still talking to Notre Dame and USC so we'll see what happens there."

Tuerk has been to Colorado, Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA among other places during the spring.

"We've been busy with visiting schools and we've had some coaches come by our school," said Tuerk. "USC, Duke and Iowa State are a couple of ones that have been by and all the other schools pretty much said they'll be coming by this month."

Tuerk said he'd like to hit up the Midwest schools during the summer for unofficial visits.

He's also planning to take his time before making a choice.

"I want to take all five officials and take it slow," said Tuerk. "I have no idea when I'll decide but it won't be for a while."
