As schools stop by Santa Monica, and eyeball Wheeler, he thinks more offers could be coming in.
"I'm hearing from Washington, Colorado, UCLA, USC wants me to come to a camp, some Ivy League schools like Harvard and Dartmouth and Iowa," said Wheeler. "I'm getting looked at for both positions, but I haven't been told what specifically."
The 6-7, 265-pounder said that defensive end is the position he enjoys most, but thinks he likely will end up on the other side of the ball.
"I think the offensive line is where my future is," said Wheeler.
Wheeler plans to camp at USC for their Lineman Camp and he's also heading out to Arizona State soon. Ideally, he'd like to stay in the Pac-12.
"I want to be close to home if possible," said Wheeler.
He's also in no rush to make a decision.
"I want to be able to go through the recruiting process," said Wheeler.
Academically, he has a 3.6 GPA and will take the SAT in June.
