Kailua Kona (Hawaii) Kealakehe athlete Psalm Wooching (6-3, 205), has one offer under his belt and a few more Pac-12 offers are in the works.

"UCLA offered me as a linebacker," said Wooching. "Coach (Inoke) Breckterfield was the one who offered me. And Washington, Colorado and Utah are going to be offering me really soon. I talk to Coach (Brian) Cabral at Colorado, Coach (Johnny) Nansen at Washington and Coach (Norm) Chow at Utah. They all said they could be offering me really soon."

Wooching also plays running back and said most schools are recruiting him as an athlete.

"I want to play running back but I'll play whatever," said Wooching.

Wooching said two schools are standing out to him.

"UCLA or Colorado are standing out and are recruiting me the hardest right now," said Wooching. "But all of those schools I'm interested in."

Wooching said numerous coaches have been by or are still planning to be by this May.

"They're trying to get in and see me," said Wooching. "And I'm going to try to get to some camps."

Wooching said he's gotten a lot of interest from Hawaii, but aspires to head elsewhere.

"I'm looking to go to the Pac-12," said Wooching.

Academically, Wooching has a 3.3 and took the SAT earlier this month.
