Evans Plans To Camp at UCLA

Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure quarterback Marc Evans (6-3, 208), is one of the top quarterbacks in the West, but he's still patiently waiting for his first offer.

That could be coming soon, and Evans just continues to truck along while he waits.

"It's a little tough, but I'm just being patient," said Evans. "I know once I get that first offer, it will all work out."

Evans said that Oregon State and Boise State would be coming by to watch him throw and that Washington State, Hawaii, San Diego State and San Jose State have already come by.

"I think Oregon State could be close to offering," said Evans. "And Boise State is coming to see me this week."

In addition, two longtime favorites, UCLA and Notre Dame, continue to stay in consistent contact with Evans, and he's hoping that either school throws their name into the mix.

"I'm going to camp at UCLA and Notre Dame and then USC, Boise State and Oregon State," said Evans.

Earlier this month, Evans was in the Bay Area for the Elite 11 Regional Camp and the Stanford Nike Camp and visited Cal, Stanford and San Jose State.

"I'm pretty much just waiting things out and waiting for that first school to offer," said Evans. "I'm focusing on our team and winning a championship this year."

Evans helped lead Team B2G to the Badger Elite 7on7 in Las Vegas in March and he'll be in Dallas in July to lead B2G at the Badger Nationals.

While in Dallas, Evans said he'll be visiting SMU unofficially.
