Auburn (Wash.) offensive tackle Cory English holds offers from Idaho and Oregon State. The 6'4" 285lbs junior lists some other programs that have been in contact recently.

"UCLA, UNLV, Oregon, Oregon State and Idaho have been to my school," said English. "I feel like UCLA and Washington are really close to offering."

English has been learning more about the Beavers since they offered nearly a month ago.

"I met the Oregon State offensive line coach (Mike Cavanaugh) and he was a really cool guy," said English. "He has coached in Hawaii some and that was cool for me."

English likes that Oregon State has a large community of Polynesian players but said his decision won't be based on that fact alone.

"It is not a huge deal," said English. "Just whatever place can feel like a home."

English has been busy with track this spring, but plans to turn his focus back to football in the near future.

"I made it to state in the shot put," said English. "Danny (Shelton) also made it for shot put and discus."

"We start our spring ball in a week or so," said English. "When that is done I usually just lift a couple of days a week before and after school."

English is going to try and attend as many camps as possible this spring. While he would like the get to Oregon State and Washington State, he only knows of two camps that is attending for sure.

"I know I will be at the Nike Camp at Washington and then the Washington team camp," said English.
