Fontana (Calif.) Summit running back Jamaal Williams has a pair of offers, from two Mountain West programs, but other schools are keeping a close eye on him.

"San Diego State and Boise State were my first two offers," said Williams.

And Colorado State, BYU, Army, San Jose State, Washington, UCLA and USC are also expressing interest in the 6-2, 180-pounder.

"Most of them are recruiting me as a tailback, but USC likes me more as an outside linebacker," said Williams.

Williams said he plans to camp at USC and UCLA this summer, in search of an offer, but both trail his leader.

"My favorite is Boise State," said Williams.

Williams shared the backfield a year ago with Oregon signee Devon Blackmon, but with Blackmon headed to Eugene, he figures to get more carries.

"Some schools think I could play on either side, but I'm a running back and I want to show all that I can do," said Williams.

Academically, he has a 3.3 and scored a 1230 on the SAT.

Williams ran for 717 yards on 93 carries and scored 11 touchdowns as a 2010 junior at Summit.
