Harper Impressed by the Bruins

Bryan Harper, the three-star athlete from Ontario (Calif.) Colony, participated in UCLA's Skills Camp over the weekend for a chance to impress the coaches, and gain an in-person perspective about the program...

On Sunday, Ontario (Calif.) Colony athlete Bryan Harper showed up to compete at UCLA's Skills Camp.

"It's been great, the coaches and everything have been really cool. They are loving me up. The campus is beautiful, and there are a lot of great players out here competing," said Harper.

Harper had been in contact with the coaching staff at UCLA prior to his attendance at their camp over the weekend. Harper is hoping his performance on Sunday will produce a new offer.

"I feel really confident in my performance today, I am hoping it will result in an offer from UCLA," said Harper.

Harper currently has seven offers on the table from several strong schools in various conferences.

"I have offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, New Mexico State, and Montana," said Harper.

Harper would like to take his time to evaluate all of his options, before selecting his favorite programs.

"Out of all the schools that have offered me, I really like Arizona State, but I pretty much like all of the schools right now. I am just trying to weigh all my options, and look at the pros and cons of each school," said Harper.

Harper discussed what he is looking for in a school, and which program seemed to measure up, according to his expectations.

"I am looking for tradition, great coaches and a program that is moving forward. UCLA measures up great, and has everything I am looking for in a program," said Harper.
