Thanks to his versatility, Barajas landed his first offer last week, from UCLA.
"I got my first offer from UCLA last week on Monday," said Barajas. "I did real well at the (Lineman) camp."
For Barajas, the Bruins were one of his top schools, and the first offer was a thrill for him.
"I was really stoked and very excited," said Barajas.
While he didn't commit, a verbal may not be far off.
"I didn't commit yet, but I'm thinking about committing in the next couple of weeks," said Barajas.
And Barajas, who plays tackle for the Seraphs, knows he'll likely move inside in college.
"They like me as a center or guard," said Barajas. "I am totally fine playing those two positions. Also, the offensive line coach (Bob Palcic), said I might be able to start early too."
Barajas said he got complimentary reviews following the Lineman Camp.
"All the coaches said they were very impressed," said Barajas.
And his family was glad he got the first offer.
"My parents are very excited and proud," said Barajas.
Barajas was an All-Marmonte League pick in 2010, when he helped the Seraphs to a share of the league title.
