Winston's Mind Might be Made Up

Jameis Winston, the #2 quarterback in the nation, does not plan to wait much longer. He may already have his mind made up and he intends to announce his decision soon...

"Alabama, LSU, Florida State, UCLA, and Stanford are the schools still on my list," said Jameis Winston.

Four schools will be eliminated from that list in the near future.

"I will be committing soon. I do not have a date picked out or anything yet, but it will definitely happen in July. It could happen before I go out to California for the Elite 11 on July 18, but I am not sure yet."

He may not be sure of the date, but he may be sure of the school. He has a strong idea of who he will be playing college football for already.

"I would say I am about 90 percent sure of the school right now," said the 6-foot-4, 195 pound quarterback out of Hueytown, Ala. "I am not planing to take anymore visits and I am looking forward to getting the recruiting process overwith. It has been fun, but it has been a little crazy too."

Winston is the currently the number two rated quarterback in the country and the number 30 rated overall prospect on Scout.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
