"I've visited Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington and UCLA," said Kelley. "And I'm planning on going to the East Coast, seeing Florida and NC State, who've both offered me. We're working those out."
Kelley, who plays as a hands-down defensive end, said most schools are looking at him for that role, though some look at him as an outside linebacker in a 3-4.
"Most schools look at me as a hands down defensive end, but schools that run a 3-4 like me as a hybrid type," said Kelley.
Kelley is hoping that the visits this summer will add to his previous trips and he'll have a good enough feel for an early decision.
"I'm trying to make a decision before my senior year starts," said Kelley. "Hopefully by the middle or end of August, depending on when I feel comfortable. But I'd still like to visit 2-3 schools and take some officials."
Kelley said that Oregon and Cal could be close to offering him too, joining his list.
He camped at UCLA's Lineman Camp earlier this month and was one of the better defensive lineman in attendance.
"I think I did pretty well," said Kelley. "I have to use my hands more. But I see some things I can improve on."
Academically, Kelley has a 3.8 GPA.
