La Habra (Calif.) linebacker Aaron Porter won't have to travel too far to play his college football.

The four-star prospect committed to play just up the freeway, choosing UCLA from among 12 offers.

Porter had narrowed down his list to a final four of Arizona State, Boise State, California and UCLA.

"I've always been a fan of UCLA," said Porter. "It's close to home."
