Fontana (Calif.) A.B. Miller linebacker Reshawn Hooker had been wanting a UCLA offer for some time.

Hooker camped at UCLA late last month in hopes of landing one, and last week, he got some good news from the Bruin staff.

"UCLA offered me this last week," said Hooker.

For Hooker, the Bruins join Boise State at the top of his list.

"I like Boise State a lot," said Hooker. "They were the first school to offer me and that means a lot. UCLA is the school I grew up watching and it's close to my home."

Hooker said that while the Bruins and Broncos lead, he's not ruling anyone out.

"I'm still open to all schools," said Hooker.

Hooker is a three-star outside linebacker who also could play safety at the next level.
