Parker Jackson-Cartwright, 5-8 SO PG Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola, is an extremely talented young prospect with an oustanding feel for the game. While he isn't real big just yet, Cartwright has an older brother in the 6-2 range and it's quite possible that Parker still has some growing to do. But regardless of whether he gets any bigger, Cartwright is so skilled, and has such a unique feel, that he projects as a high major prospect at the next level.

I spoke with Cartwright recently and asked about the schools that have been recruiting him.

"UCLA, Arizona State and Washington have been the main ones," said Cartwright.

I asked Cartwright if any school leads at the moment.

"I really like UCLA for sure," said Cartwright. "I really like them a lot."

Cartwright talked a little about the issues he will consider when making his choice.

"The style of play somewhat," said Cartwright. "I like to play up and down, but I feel like I can play well in the half court as well. The coach is really important too. I'm very family oriented, so I'm looking for a family environment."

I asked Cartwright if location is an issue.

"I'd like to stay close so my family can see all my games," said Cartwright.

Cartwright said he could see himself making an early decision.

"I don't want to wait too long, but I do want to see my options," said Cartwright.

Cartwright said he has a 3.0 GPA.
